* * * * * * * * * * * 19th Annual SIRE Ride-A-Thon I just wanted to update all of you on the SIRE Ride-a-Thon which you supported. Our client rider, Macailyn, won the prize for most money raised. Plus, the GC team, Arabian Spirit Riders, won as Top Fundraising Team. Between Arabian Spirit Riders and Macailyn, a total of $5,580 was raised for SIRE!!! And the ride-a-thon itself was a wonderful event.
The total raised by the Ride-a-Thon was $77,000. Thanks to all of you for your support of SIRE. Pat Roddy * * * * * * * * * * * GCAHC is the 2011 Horse Angel sponsor of Tikki and Spirit. Both are Arabian therapy horses at SIRE, Houston's Therapeutic Equestrian Center. SIRE provides riding programs for children and adults who have physical, and cognitive disabilities, sensory impairments and psycho-social disorders.
